How do I access the Standards for Excellence Education Packets? (For Members and Nonmembers)

Logging in permits you to access member rates and download Standards for Excellence Educational Resource Packets in our online store (23/24 are free to PANO members)

For PANO members, the only packet with a fee attached is #9-Personnel Polices and Employee Orientation ($40). A full price list and description can be found below.


1) LOGIN to PANO´s website - See member/visitor login instructions above.


(Be sure to shop on behalf of yourself, NOT on behalf of your organization.)


2) Once logged in, click "Online Store," select "Merchandise" from the drop-down menu and click "Go."


3) Choose an Ed Packet by clicking "Select" and then "Add to Cart."


4) You can add additional packets, or other items, to your cart by clicking "Continue Shopping" and repeating step 2.


(Use the drop-down menu and click "Go" to find other items such as programs, books, sponsorships and donation opportunities!)


5) When you have added all of the packets/items you wish to download/purchase to your shopping cart, click "Check Out."


How To Access My Downloaded/Purchased Educational Resource Packets:


1) After you process your order, click "My Transactions" (left side bar).


(Note: You must be logged in to access your downloaded items.)


2) You will see your packet(s) under "Downloadable Products." (Note: You are able to download each item five times within a one month period from the date of download/purchase. We recommend you save the item by opening the item and selecting "File" and then "Save As" from your toolbar.)


Please note that all Standards for Excellence® materials are copyrighted. PANO goes by the honor code and requests that downloaded/purchased Standards for Excellence® materials not be shared with any other organization(s) other than your own. Should another organization be interested in the materials, we ask that you please have them contact PANO staff directly at: tish@pano.org or (717) 236-8584 x1001.

How do I add my colleagues to the database?

They can add themselves on our log on page in the new visitor registration. They should make sure they link themselves to your organization. If they have any trouble, they can contact Jennifer Ross for help.

How do I log onto the PANO Website?

If you are receiving email updates regularly from PANO, then you are in our database. Your username is the email address where you are receiving enews. If you have never logged in before, you should have a temporary password of Password1. If that doesn´t work, just click the “forgot my password option.”


If you get a message that there is a problem with your email address, it may mean that we have your email address listed with another colleague of yours. Just contact Jenn Ross and she will fix that for you.


By logging in, members can get the member rate on everything available in our store, and you can download numerous Standards for Excellence resources. If you need some extra help “walking through” the site, just let Jenn Ross know and she´ll give you a tutorial.

I am currently forming a nonprofit. Can I join?

Yes, you can join as a nonprofit based on your operating budget. We do not help with the filing paperwork but can provide a lot of help with day-to-day questions, access to Standards for Excellence Resources, discounted training, and more.

Who is the member?

For nonprofit and business members, your organization is the member, but all your staff (and in nonprofits volunteers and board members) receive benefits. This means they are all eligible to get member rates on training, to contact staff for help desk issues, to download Standards for Excellence Education Packets, receive enews and other e-alerts, participate in the members only PANO LinkedIn Group, etc

• Call or email us if you have day-to-day nonprofit help desk questions.

• Access PANO´s Standards for Excellence Educational Resources. Most are free!


• Post jobs and events online for free. Just go to our member job opening or member calendar and follow the link to post your opportunities.

• We´ll keep you posted on policy matters, opportunities, Standards for Excellence tips, event updates, and more, so long as we have your correct email address in our database. If you are not currently receiving emails from our staff, please sign up using the guest registration on our site.
