Standards for Excellence

Standards for Excellence® is an ethics and accountability code, educational resource, training and certification program that strengthens every aspect of your organization. Learn how to maintain a better-informed staff and board…and how to keep both active and energized. Strengthen your organization by establishing ways to assess and improve financial systems, governance, personnel practices, mission and program, fundraising and more. With Standards for Excellence® certification, your nonprofit can experience increased credibility with current and potential donors.


Public Policy

PANO keeps an eye on Harrisburg and Washington so you can concentrate on your mission. We track issues involving tax exempt status, charitable giving, unfair competition, the governance of charities and other bills that might have a material effect on you. We share public policy information with you through PANO Enews. And when a situation warrants your immediate attention, we send out Action Alerts.

Training

Members and nonmembers have access to a wide variety of training sessions, seminars and webinars on all kinds of educational topics. However, members receive a special reduced rate for you, your staff, and your board. We present seminars and webinars on all kinds of pertinent topics. Individual members also access these services. Please note that Individual membership is only meant for people who are supporters of PANO or people who are unable to join at any of the other categories.
