Why Cut What Works is a coalition of United Ways, community foundations and nonprofit organizations across the state with the overarching purpose to provide a vehicle for voices of the vulnerable, the underserved and the disadvantaged.

Where families and individuals can explain the human cost of cutting nonprofit programs on which they depend.

Where citizens can ask why the state budget finds it necessary to cut what works in order to fund what doesn´t.

Where testimonies can be told about the vital, critical work of our region´s nonprofit organizations.
