Our newsletter, "Keynotes" is published quarterly for our members.
"Keynotes" provides updates on current legislation and issues, posts current member benefits, and keeps members educated about what PANO is doing
statewide. It also included informational articles on each of its
themes: Fundraising, Board & Governance, Risk Management, and Public
Policy.
Our electronic newsletter, "PANO enews" is published bi-weekly and
provides Standards Education pieces, event updates, special
opportunities, member update, public policy alerts, and more. If

Affiliations and Public Policy:
PANO monitors changes in Federal and
State legislation and regulations that broadly impact the nonprofit
sector, and mobilizes members through “Action Alerts” and informational
updates. Join the Public Policy Committee. The Committee meets monthly
via conference call and is open to all PANO members willing to discuss
the issues and get involved.
PANO is involved with a number of organizations which affect the nonprofit sector. PANO
is a member of the National Council of Nonprofits and of
Independent Sector.
Executive Director Joe Geiger conducts monthly interviews with leaders in the nonprofit
sector and public officials for the Lincoln
Radio Journal. PANO participates in an annual charitable survey with the Lincoln
Institute on Public Policy.

PANO provides free technical assistance to its members when possible. For long-term
assistance, we provide a free referral service to consultants
in fields such as
accounting, fundraising, legal services, tax services, etc.

We sell the newest (eighth) edition of the "Pennsylvania Nonprofit Handbook:
Everything You Need to Know to Start and Run Your Nonprofit Organization." This
publication is a veritable A-Z guide for new and established nonprofits in
