Nonprofit Congress Launches New Interactive Website and Resource.
The Nonprofit Congress has launched it’s a new, interactive
website. Please visit

sign up for updates, and have your voice heard! The site now
includes information about the 2008 election, its Media Project
launching in September, and so much more. Watch for news about
PANO’s statewide Nonprofit Congress to be held in April 2008 and
how you can get involved.

Background:
PANO joined nearly 400 nonprofit delegates in Washington DC
for the 2006 Nonprofit Congress National Meeting on October 16
and 17.
The Nonprofit Congress was an unprecedented effort to unite
nonprofits and strengthen the charitable sector through vision
leadership and values.
The following is a list of delegates: Heather Arnet,
Dave Coplan, Joe Geiger, John Hirt, Don Kramer, David Ross,
Jennifer Ross, Michael Sand, Diane Snyder, Stuart Weiser and
Robert Whitmore. At-large delegates include Cindy Bahn, Diana
Bucco, Alice Kaiser-Drobney, David Fleming, and Abby Sandel. To learn more about

On June 7,
2006, PANO hosted a Plenary Session of the Nonprofit Congress in
Harrisburg. Audrey Alvarado,
National Leader for the Nonprofit Congress, led the session. In
an effort to establish a baseline for needs, solutions and a
vision for the sector; PANO hosted this as a Plenary Session at
our Annual Conference today. Results of this session will
become part of the grounding facts upon which the 2006 Nonprofit
Congress will be based. On October 16, hundreds of delegates
from throughout the country will converge upon
Washington,
DC to help the nonprofit
sector define its common values and speak with a unified
voice.
